The master password would be used for
gaining access to installation settings in the 4dtv, if you have turned
on the password feature --this master password & your personal password
would allow you access to option 6-4 password 92121 (installation settings)
The main reason for the master password
is for satellite dealers to be able to setup your receiver without having
to know your personal password. To my knowledge all most all satellite
receivers have master passwords.
