- Starz HD
channels on G9-122 and G9-124 have gone off the air. (NPS Feb 3)
- The
Travel Channel will move from C4-602 to C3 satellite by 05-17-10. The
channel number on C3 has not been assigned yet. (NPS Feb 2)
- NPS will
no longer be selling annual subscriptions to the C-Band Programming
services that we offer due to the uncertain future availabilty
of subscription channels we sell. We will continue to offer 1 month, 3
month, 6 month services. (NPS Feb 1)
2009 News
- From NPS -Biography & History International are
gone due to contract disputes (Oct 7/09)
- Chiller is now available to all Absolute Digital
Subscribers on x4-641 from NPS
- On 01-October-2008 Courtv
becomes Tru-Tv
- On October 16 2009 HBO in HD is being discontinued by
the vendor. Unfortunately we had no control over this.
- C-Span 2 has gone to DC2 combo mode, which is not
compatible with 4DTV receivers
- ESPN Classics is being moved from C4-400 to W5-747 as
part of the HITS consolidation (March 10/09 From NPS)
- Sundance Channel recently moved from GO-117 and C3-117
to W5-254
- Bravo West and History West recently relocated from
C4-710 to W5-740 and from C4-610 to W5-745
- Instructions on How to Program W5 Satellite into 4DTV

- The 4DTV has been updated for the following channels:

2008 News
- The current CBS (WSEE) & ABC (WABC) channels on
C-Band will be replaced with WGCL (CBS from Atlanta) & WSB (ABC from
Atlanta) beginning 12/31/08
- Spike TV has replaced TV-Land both the 927-NPS
Exclusives Package and the 590-Digital Essentials Pak
- On 12/18/08, Chiller on W5-641 is changing transponder
locations. The DSR 922 will automatically make the change during the 2AM
nightly download, however customers who have DSR 920 and DSR 905 Side-Car
Receivers may need to manually re-map on 12/19/08 to continue to receive
that channel
- As of 12/31/08, the current CBS (WSEE) & ABC (WABC)
channels on C-Band will be replaced with WGCL (CBS from Atlanta) & WSB
(ABC from Atlanta). This change will make ABC and CBS available to DSR 920
owners again. We will keep you updated on their new satellite location
once they are mapped
- On 12/31/2008, Motorola ACC will end all analog vc2
authorizations. After this time, you may receive programming by either
getting a 4DTV unit. This means that CNN, HLN, TBS, TNT, TWC will not be
available on analog after 12-31-08 but SPS is going to provide them as
digital services. No word on channel numbers or satellite locations yet.
- After 12/31/08, Wealth TV on G9 HD and SD will no
longer be available to 4DTV subscribers
- In February 2009, the Sundance channel will be leaving
G0 and C3 and moving to a format not compatible with 4DTV. We are
currently working on an option to make Sundance available on satellite W5
thru Hits, and we will update you as more develops on this (from NPS)
- Clocks change Sunday March 9th, if your receiver is
showing the wrong time call your porgram
provider to rehit your system to update the time
- Showtime, located on G5-24, will be leaving analog on
03-31-2008
- Jan 28/08Comcast will be moving the HITS channels on
satellite X4 (Ku) to a C-band satellite ->AMC-18 at 105 degrees west.
These channels will temporarily be dual illuminated until Comcast ends the
feeds on satellite X4 on June 1, 2008
- Jan 7/08 as of Dec 13 2007, HBO West is no longer
available in analog. HBO East is scheduled to go digital on Jan 13 2008.
HBO East and West can currently both be found in digital on satellite G1
100 and 102
- Reminder lots of your channels have moved to new
digital locations as follows: (note this is not a complete list; lots of
other digital channels available, call a program provider to see what you
can subscribe to above)
